Lexabean will provide via a CD or secure download a package that
includes all of the software
that you need to support our application. This will typically get installed
on your desktop under program files\lexabean\bycb for BYCB users and program files\lexabean\byob
for BYOB users.
The installation program will automatically install the
software onto your Pocket PC. This section should only be used in case you have
problems with the installation.

After installing the software off of your CD, these steps will
need to be followed in order to properly set up the Pocket PC connection to the
Lexabean master database.

Place
your Pocket PC in its cradle and ensure that the cradle is properly
connected to your desktop.
-
Ensure Microsoft ActiveSync is installed on your
computer. If it is not, you can download a free version from the
MicrosSoft website.
-
Click on the Start button in the lower left corner of your
display.
-
Select the
following menu items: Programs->Lexabean->BYCB or BYOB->Configure
Login, PDA & Pocket PC Conduit.
-
A Console window will pop up. The first
thing this will do is automatically download the latest Pocket PC software
directly into your Pocket PC.

your Lexabean diary
login ID and Lexabean diary password as obtained from Lexabean when you
purchased your software. Otherwise - simply hit return at the Login

When completed, your screen will look
something like this:
